PILATES TRAINING

Full-body, individual workouts with a personal instructor dedicated to you, and voted “Best of the Islands” multiple years.  We are so fortunate to have Mahnaz Bassiri, as our experienced and certified Pilates instructor.  Dedicated and focused, Mahnaz will ensure you perform your best, with excellent form, with a smile!  

Pilates is a total body workout, with focus on core control, improving your ability to move effectively and efficiently by transmitting force from the body’s center.  The deep abdominals, pelvic floor, spinal and hip/shoulder musculature are strengthened.  This, in turn, improves posture, balance and reduces the risk of injury in everyday life.  Pilates can be adapted for every body, every level of fitness and every age.  Sessions with Mahnaz will help your body feel strong, lengthened and balanced.  You will stand taller, look slimmer and feel uplifted.

The Pilates method was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, to rehabilitate injured soldiers and later to strengthen dancers and athletes, while improving flexibility.  The method includes a series of controlled movements performed on specially designed spring-resistant exercise apparatus and on the mat.  Our studio is well appointed with Reformer, Split-Pedal Stability Chair, Spinal Corrector, BOSU, Pilates accessories, mat and bar equipment.  Private, one-on-one session $80.
